On April 2, 2017, Pastor Carver Sims and Lady Robyn Sims God-given vision became a reality. The Family Church opened its doors in the Wilbourn Building in Batesville, MS with 45 guest in attendance. On opening day, greeters, photographers, and a praise band were all present causing those entering to wonder was this really a start-up ministry. From the parking lot to the pulpit, heartfelt love prevalent and exudes in a major way. Possessing an attitude to serve, with relevant and practical teachings, the “Family Church” is poised for greatness.

Meet Pastor Carver
Pastor Carver James Sims Jr. Is an influential church leader, businessman, and motivational speaker who serves with excellence and integrity. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in Liberal Arts where he played for the Men’s Basketball Team. He is married to the lovely Robyn and had 3 handsome sons, Carver III, Christopher, and Caleb. The Family Church exist to carry out, The Great Commission: Jesus said, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching to do everything I have commanded you” Matthew 28:19-20. Pastor Carver believes that a follower of Jesus Christ should prosper in all areas of his life: Spiritually, Financially, Physically. His Ministry Motto is: Reaching the World One Person at a time.
